Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 August 2026

BidClock sells advertising time on its own front page. It has no accounts, sets no cookies, and runs no analytics or tracking scripts of any kind. This page describes the little that it does collect.

What you give us on purpose

To put a listing on a clock you submit a name, a link, and optionally a one-line pitch and a logo URL. That is the entire form.

All of it is published publicly — that is the product you are buying. It appears on the masthead while your time runs, in the queue, in the activity feed, and permanently on the Clockroll leaderboard.

What we get from the payment

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who act as Merchant of Record. Your card details go to them and never touch BidClock — we cannot see them and do not store them.

Dodo tells us only what we need to deliver the purchase:

  • a payment identifier, so a retried notification can't award your time twice
  • the amount and currency charged, so we grant exactly the time you paid for
  • which listing the payment belongs to

Dodo collects billing details, including your email, under their own privacy policy. For anything they hold, they are the controller and their policy governs.

What we don't do

  • No accounts, no passwords. There is nothing to log in to.
  • No cookies, no localStorage, no device fingerprinting.
  • No analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers.
  • No email list. We will not contact you for marketing.
  • No selling, renting, or sharing of anything with anyone.

Our host, Vercel, and our database provider, Neon, process requests on our behalf and keep standard operational logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to build any profile of you.

How long it's kept

Listings and the time they bought are kept indefinitely, because the Clockroll is a permanent public record that never resets — that permanence is part of what is being sold.

Payment records are retained as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

Email officialvk02@gmail.com to ask what we hold about a listing, to correct it, or to have it taken down. We reply within 5 business days.

We can remove a listing's name, link and pitch on request. Where a purchase record must stay for accounting, we anonymise the listing rather than delete the transaction. To reach the billing data Dodo holds, contact Dodo directly.

Children

BidClock is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
